The Perth Caber Tossers converted a terrific effort from starter Ewan Baxter into a win over the Glasgow Shipwrights at Shipwrights Stadium. The Caber Tossers won the game by a final score of 6-1. Baxter got the win, improving to 20-13. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run.

The Caber Tossers benefited from an error in the top of the third inning. Perth was leading 2-1 when Luis Gómez hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Perth in front, 4-1.

Gómez told a Perth Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
