The Bennington Melodeons got a strong game from starter Isaac Castro, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Melodeons took the 2-1 win over the Waterville Elms in Game 2 of the Division Series in a 10th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Castro. Castro threw 10.0 innings of 7-hit ball in the win, which brought the Melodeons into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch hit was provided by Estanislao Velázquez. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off José Ocampo in the bottom of the tenth.

"That was a good baseball game," said Velázquez.

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at The Grove in Waterville.
