Panaderos Move on to Campeonato Veraniego de Principiantes
With a narrow 3-2 series win, the Patillas Panaderos have eliminated the Naguabo Malditos and are Campeonato de las Ligas winners.

"We tried not to look ahead to the Campeonato Veraniego de Principiantes, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said second baseman Melquíades Guzmán, who was named series MVP.

Patillas won the final game by a score of 5-1, wrapping it up at El Círculo Noveno.

Guzmán's big series saw him hit .556 with a .579 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Patillas Panaderos will play against the Florida Estribaciones in the next round. Florida won their series against the Maricao Ristretti 3 games to 2. The Campeonato Veraniego de Principiantes schedule will be announced after the Campeonato de las Ligas finishes.
