Rojos Stumble, Losing to Alacranes, 5-2

The Mayabeque Alacranes knocked off the Artemisa Rojos, 5-2, in Torneo Occidental action at Campo de Artemisa. Mayabeque pitcher and Isabela, Puerto Rico, native Javier Olivarez had an outstanding performance. The third-place Alacranes now sit at 16-15.
The Alacranes ran into trouble in the bottom of the first. The score was 1-0, Mayabeque, with two out. Artemisa, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, had Logan Watson at the plate. With a base hit, he could have changed the complexion of the game. Instead, he grounded out and the Alacranes went on to win.
