Soneros Secure 5-2 Win

Santiago de Cuba and Trinidad took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
The Santiago de Cuba Soneros topped the Trinidad Tabacaleros, 5-2, in Torneo Oriental action at Campo de los Tabacaleros. The standout performance belonged to Santiago de Cuba pitcher and London, England, native Mo Tuck. With the win over Trinidad, the Soneros improved to 16-25.
Santiago de Cuba used the hitting of Valerio Barajas to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Soneros on top, 2-0. For the game, Barajas had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"I felt great. Had good rhythm with my mechanics," said Tuck.
