Leopardos Get Past San Antonio de los Banos, 3-2
In a tight tilt between the Santa Clara Leopardos and the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes, Ricardo Hernández was the deciding factor. The Santa Clara right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Hernández. He threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The loser was Román Magdaleno. Javier Mendoza earned his 4th save, after closing out the game.

Santa Clara used the timely hitting of Segundo Ramírez to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Leopardos on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Hernández.

The second-place Leopardos have won 4 straight games.
