Mayabeque center fielder Marco Antonio Murillo was sensational. He was 4-5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Pinar del Rio beat the Alacranes, 6-5. Gedeón Rubio picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 3-5. Getting the save was Enrique Báez, his 4th.

Pinar del Rio took control in the top of the seventh. With no one out and a runner on 2nd, Mórsimo González hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Guajiros.
