Nazario García led Artemisa to a win over Mayabeque. The final score was 7-6. García scored 2 times, going 3 for 5. He also knocked in 1 run batted in. Artemisa bumps their record to 26-22 with the win.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 6-6, 29-year old shortstop Roano Valerio won it for Artemisa. With a runner on 2nd, Valerio hit a full count cutter from Santiago Ramírez for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 7-6 win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Artemisa manager Gustavo Peña.
