There was never a dull moment in an extra-length game between the Pinar del Rio Guajiros and the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes.

In a tight tilt between the Pinar del Rio Guajiros and the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes, Gedeón Rubio was the difference-maker. The Pinar del Rio right-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 10 innings. Rubio got the win, improving to 6-6. He gave up 9 hits and walked 2 over 10 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

The Guajiros relied on center fielder Hernán Maisonet for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager José Martín.

The Guajiros raised their record to 19-36.
