Bayamo and Camaguey put this game in the books despite some rain.
Left-hander Petronio Linares mesmerized the Camaguey Tinajones while leading the Bayamo Rafagas to a 5-0 victory. Bayamo reliever Petronio Linares got the win, raising his record to 7-4. Marcos Arias was tagged with the loss.
José Aranda, who leads the TORI in doubles with 16, came through for Bayamo with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The left fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
Linares said afterward that "winning, obviously, is the main objective."
With the win, Bayamo pushed its record to 31-29.
