Escultores Rally For 3-2 Win
The Las Tunas Escultores, despite a fine performance by Camaguey pitcher Hernán Cruz, grabbed a 3-2 win in 16 innings at Parque de Camaguey. Cruz allowed 2 runs over 10 innings. With the win, Las Tunas upped its record to 34-31.

Geoffrey Leitermann, who led the TORI in runs with 94 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Leitermann contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 16th inning to put Las Tunas up, 3-2.

"Every game matters," said Las Tunas manager Alberto Nevárez. "I'm really amplifying that message."
