Rafagas Trip Tinajones, 4-3, in Extra Innings

Bayamo and Camaguey took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Bayamo beat Camaguey at Parque de Camaguey, escaping with a 4-3 win in 11 innings. The win in large part was due to catcher Manuel Rosales. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. At 37-38, the Rafagas claim second place in the Torneo Oriental Bayamo.
Rosales had a game-changing double in the top of the 11th. On a 1-0 splitter from Hernán Cruz, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Rafagas a 3-2 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Rosales.
"When you think about it," Rosales said, "there's often a fine line between triumph and tragedy. One pitch, one swing of the bat can make all the difference."
