The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Mayabeque Alacranes used the hitting of right fielder Felipe Banderas to subdue the Nueva Gerona Marmoleros, 6-5. For the game, Banderas was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Cirilo Pérez picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-5 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 3 in 8 innings, while yielding 5 runs. Berengario Leija was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 21 save opportunities.

In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Nueva Gerona allowed the Alacranes to go up, 6-5, on a Nueva Gerona error.
