Campeche Claims 5-4 Victory

The Campeche Corsarios picked up a win at Parque de Campeche, dropping the Acapulco Aztecas, 5-4. Hernán Navarrete, who finished 4th in the LS in innings pitched with 264.2 last year, was the difference-maker. Navarrete picked up the win for Campeche, going 8 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. The win gives Campeche a record of 8-5.
Bonifacio Cruz hit a 2-run double off Nerón Rodríguez in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Corsarios in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Cruz had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
