Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Calaveras
The Michoacan Calaveras topped the Hidalgo Cornicos, 5-4, in Sur action at Campo Municipal de Morelia. The game was highlighted by the performance of Michoacan pitcher Rodrigo Martínez. Hidalgo falls to 5-8.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 28-year old third baseman Semónides Calderón had a chance to be the hero. Hidalgo pitcher José López had other ideas. But with two outs, Calderón drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Calaveras had themselves a dramatic win.

"When you're losing, the game looks more difficult to play than it is," said Hidalgo manager Rafael Alecio.
