The Nuevo Laredo Colibris pasted the Durango Alacranes with a convincing 11-2 defeat at Estadio de Durango. Deaglán Harris was a prime factor in the Nuevo Laredo win. He was 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. The Colibris raised their record to 13-17.

Nuevo Laredo catcher Clarkin Sweeney contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 19th hit of the season and put the Colibris ahead, 7-0.

"This is one game in a long season," said losing manager Abrám Orozco. "The sooner we can forget about it, the better."
