Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Chorizos
The Toluca Chorizos scooped up a win at La Salchichera, dumping the Michoacan Calaveras, 3-2. Agustín Amador, who is tied for 5th in the LS in innings pitched with 91.1, was essential to his team's success. Conrado Chaidez picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Francisco Pérez suffered the loss. The Chorizos bumped their record to 21-17 with this win.

Batting in the bottom of the 21st, two-time All-Star Balbino Cruz had a real shot to win the game. Michoacan pitcher Francisco Pérez was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Cruz hit a run-scoring single. The Chorizos had a walk-off triumph.

Said Cruz: "It's just one win, but it feels like more when you outlast a tough opponent."
