Caleb Major, who is tied for 4th in the LS with a 5.3 K/9 rate, was brilliant in helping Acapulco beat the Campeche Corsarios, 3-0. Farón Pedroza zipped up his 5th save. The Aztecas move to 13-27 with the win, while the Corsarios drop to 24-18.

Acapulco used the hitting of Premislao Olguín to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aztecas on top, 3-0. For the game, Olguín had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Gutsy performance by Caleb," said Acapulco manager Al Dwight.
