Nayarit and Culiacan got after it at Parque de los Mariachis.

The Nayarit Mariachis beat the Culiacan Galanes, 4-2. Nayarit pitcher and Sarnia, Canada, native Yohann Bessé led the way. At 48-51, the Mariachis claim 8th place in the Norte.

In the bottom of the seventh, Nayarit left fielder Amentario Zamora hit a run-scoring single to left field. The clutch hit made it 3-2, Mariachis.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Nayarit skipper Alfredo Fraijo. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
