Estadio de Durango hosted a real pitchers' duel.

In a tight tilt between the Ciudad Juarez Nortenos and the Durango Alacranes, Ernesto Silva was the deciding factor. The Ciudad Juarez right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Earning his 1st save of the year was Cristóbal Quintana.

Silva delivered a quality start for Ciudad Juarez. The 178 cm right-hander allowed no earned runs on 7 hits over 10.1 innings of work.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Silva. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."

At 49-57, the Nortenos find themselves in 9th place in the Norte.
