At Parque de los Trovadores, the Merida Trovadores and Puebla Mosqueteros were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Urso Cabrera, who is tied for 2nd in the LS with a 6.2 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Puebla Mosqueteros against the Merida Trovadores at Parque de los Trovadores. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. The winning pitcher was Cabrera, now 10-6. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alexander Clark? The Puebla left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Mosqueteros on top, 2-0. For the game, Clark had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Clark.
The setback makes Merida 61-45.
