The Nortenos grabbed a win, 4-3, at Parque de los Mariachis, overcoming a fine effort from Nayarit pitcher Emanuel Ruiz. Ruiz went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Víctor Robles, who is tied for 4th in the LN in holds with 1, earned the save for Ciudad Juarez. The Nortenos raised their record to 61-52.

With one out in the top of the fifth, Adam Paul put Ciudad Juarez in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Nortenos went on to win the ballgame.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Ciudad Juarez manager Eduardo Moreno. "It's usually not just one thing."
