The Michoacan Calaveras and Hidalgo Cornicos played an entertaining game for Jardines de Pachuca patrons.

In a low-scoring affair between the Michoacan Calaveras and the Hidalgo Cornicos, pitcher Juan Carlos Acosta was the difference between victory and defeat. The Michoacan right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Calaveras win. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Calaveras.

Michoacan used the timely hitting of Akinori Takahashi to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Calaveras on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Calaveras manager Pablo Sánchez, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
