Calaveras Need Extra Frames to Get Past Trovadores
Michoacan Calaveras starter Francisco Pérez pitched his team past the Merida Trovadores in 10 innings, 5-2. Michoacan now sports a record of 52-66.

Michoacan used the timely hitting of Enrique Hernández to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Calaveras on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Hernández simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
