The umbrellas came out during the Ciudad Mexico-Acapulco contest at Parque de Acapulco.

Ciudad Mexico turned a fine outing from starter Jairo Canseco into a victory over the Acapulco Aztecas at Parque de Acapulco. The final score was 7-1. The winner was Canseco. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Nerón Rodríguez.

Jorge Pérez, the Ciudad Mexico center fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to make the score 3-1, Volcanes. For the game, Pérez went 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
