Carboneros Pull Out Late-Game Win, 6-5
The Coahuila Carboneros knocked off the Sonora Chacales, 6-5, at Estadio de Saltillo. Ciriaco Cedeño was a big reason Coahuila won. The catcher went 5 for 8 with 5 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. With the win, the Carboneros improved to 74-53.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 14th. With Coahuila trailing 5-4, Cedeño hit a cutter from Mateo Méndez for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Carboneros had a walk-off win.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Cedeño told the Coahuila Daily News.
