Wet weather did not postpone the Toluca-Chetumal ballgame.

The Toluca Chorizos scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Chetumal Mayas at La Salchichera. Toluca pitcher Palamedes Serrano held his own in the contest. The 6th-place Chorizos improved to 69-61.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Benjamín de la Torre in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Hagen Callahan to win it for Toluca and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

Serrano described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
