There was no shortage of dramatics at Estadio Municipal de Juárez.

The Nuevo Laredo Colibris got a sterling performance from pitcher Jairo Hernández, but the Ciudad Juarez Nortenos still prevailed, 6-5. Hernández threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The win elevated the Nortenos to 70-62.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Ciudad Juarez pinch hitter Marcos Rizo, facing Martín Medina, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Nortenos the 6-5 win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Rizo.
