Séptimo Salazar, who is tied for 4th in the WFBA in strikeouts with 48, had a strong outing for the Lubbock Layabouts against the Amarillo Horizons at Horizons Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. The victory makes Lubbock 10-10.

The Horizons had trouble solving Salazar, who surrendered 2 runs on 6 hits over 9 innings.
