The first-place Nacogdoches Roaches took on the Beaumont Alpinists in front of a spirited crowd.

The Nacogdoches Roaches knocked off the Beaumont Alpinists by the score of 11-4. Mathis Picot provided some pop, going 3-for-5 with 1 home run. Antonio Chatsaga, the winning pitcher, is now 4-2. He went 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 5.

Eddie Lennox aided the Nacogdoches cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4.
