The Cardiff Arcadians clobbered the Newport Stevedores, 14-3, at Ballpark of Cardiff. Cardiff center fielder Enrique Prado led the onslaught. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 8. Matías Rivera was the winner. He's now 1-3. The loser was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Flaminio Martínez.
