The Edinburgh Claymores had to overcome a fine effort from Inverness pitcher Félix Serna to win, 3-2, in 17 innings at Claymores Stadium. Serna went 15 innings and allowed 1 run. Edinburgh reliever Torcuato López was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Heráclito Martínez took the loss. Edinburgh sits in last place in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba at 14-27.

The Claymores relied on second baseman Tomás Felipe for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 17th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"The most important thing is that we won," Felipe said.
