Websters Edge Inverness in Pitching Duel
The Dundee Websters had to overcome a good performance from Inverness pitcher Ramón Montoya to claim a 1-0 win at Websters Stadium. Montoya went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The winning pitcher was Guillermo Petrarco. He's now 1-6. He went 6.2 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits for the Websters. The Websters got a big boost from shortstop Roy Humphrey who had a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first inning off Thistles hurler Ramón Montoya. It was his 15th RBI of the season and put Dundee on top, 1-0.
