Stevedores fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

Stevedores left fielder Felipe Sánchez put his stamp on his team's 7-6 win over the Aberystwyth Dragons. Sánchez went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk for Newport in the contest. The win makes Newport 12-34.

Newport got a clutch hit from Mamerto Martín. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Newport manager Noé Anguiano.
