Edinburgh registered a win at Shipwrights Stadium by beating the Glasgow Shipwrights, 6-5. Pitcher Marius Capisizu was one reason why the Claymores triumphed. Capisizu, who is tied for 10th in the BFS&I with a 2.67 ERA, went the distance for Edinburgh. He gave up 5 runs on 5 hits.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Leo McGrady? The 24-year old left fielder McGrady stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Edinburgh up, 6-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said McGrady.
