Aceves Lifts Copper Lords to 6-4 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Swansea-Aberystwyth contest at Dragons Stadium.

The Swansea Copper Lords beat the Aberystwyth Dragons, 6-4, at Dragons Stadium. The win was due in part to right fielder Rubén Aceves, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Swansea pitcher Yoshihiro Yamasaki got the win. He's now 3-5. Kyle Williams was tagged with the loss. Perseo Saldaña picked up his 1st save of the season.

Swansea used a clutch at-bat from Norikazu Takeuchi to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Copper Lords ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Takeuchi.

The third-place Copper Lords are 34-30.
