The Coventry Motors earned a close win over the Sheffield Talons, thanks in part to Alrigo Reyes. The Coventry right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the BFE&W in quality starts with 12, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Reyes, who is tied for 9th in the BFE&W in complete games with 9, went the distance for Coventry. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. Martín Maldonado was the walk-off hero for Coventry. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Motors catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
