Dragons Rally Late to Nip Bishops
The Aberystwyth Dragons faced a tough opponent in Bangor pitcher Ramón Carranza, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dragons Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Carranza went 13 innings and allowed 2 runs. Adam Rees came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 9-2. Aberystwyth is now 47-52.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 15th, 29-year old center fielder Artemisio Flores had a chance to be the hero. Bangor pitcher Delfín Romero wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Flores hit a sacrifice fly. The Dragons had themselves a thrilling win.

"They played a better game than we did," said Bangor skipper Felipe Mendoza.
