Martos Delivers Walk-Off Win for Granite
The Aberdeen Granite knocked off the Inverness Thistles, 8-7, at Ballpark of Aberdeen. Silverio Pizaña was a big reason Aberdeen won. The third baseman went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. With the win, the Granite improved to 54-29.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Pablo Martos in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Jobst Klais to win it for Aberdeen and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Martos.
