Despite a great performance by Cardiff second baseman José Aguilar, the Aberystwyth Dragons defeated the Arcadians by the score of 5-4 at Dragons Stadium. Aguilar went 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. With the win, the Dragons have a record of 46-50.

Demóstenes Hernández came through for Aberystwyth when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 0-2 changeup to center field, staking his team to a 5-4 lead.

"It was a good effort all around," said Hernández.
