Morales Powers Dragons Offense
The Aberystwyth Dragons topped the Cardiff Arcadians, 7-4, with designated hitter Roberto Morales playing a big role. Morales went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Dragons in the win. Constancio Hernández, who is tied for 5th in the BFE&W with a 2.67 ERA, earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 12-8. The second-place Arcadians now sit at 58-41.

Morales had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch changeup from Matías Rivera, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Dragons a 7-4 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Morales.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Morales.
