The Swansea Copper Lords topped the Aberystwyth Dragons, 2-1, in Baseball Federation of England & Wales action at Dragons Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Swansea pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Diomedes Galván. Rodulfo Camarena picked up the save for Swansea, his 5th of the year. With the win, Swansea goes to 41-60, while the Dragons fall to 62-39.

Galván allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 8.2 innings for the Copper Lords. He walked 2 and struck out 7.

"Diomedes looked very determined to have a good game," said Swansea manager Jaime Mendoza. "He was totally focused and he produced."
