Dundee Sends Inverness Packing with 3-2 Loss
|
Julio García, who is tied for 4th in the BFS&I in stolen bases with 14, had a 3-RBI night to help the Dundee Websters down the Inverness Thistles, 3-2. The Websters now own a record of 47-58.
García contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Dundee in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, García took a sinker from Vincent De Gruchy and stroked the home run to left-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Websters to leap in front, 2-1.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said García. "And not try to do too much."
