Websters Get Dramatic 2-1 Win
The Edinburgh Claymores wasted an impressive 9-inning effort from starter José Martínez, falling, 2-1, to the Dundee Websters in 10 innings at Websters Stadium. Álvar Guevara came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. The Websters raised their record to 45-54.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the tenth when José González hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher José Martínez to win the game for Dundee. The home crowd went wild.

"What a buzz," said González after it was over.
