Both teams had their chances, but the Dundee Websters eventually prevailed.

The Dundee Websters scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Glasgow Shipwrights at Shipwrights Stadium. Dundee pitcher Valeriano Pacheco held his own in the contest. Dundee goes to 48-56, Glasgow to 56-47.

José Rocha came through with a big-time hit for Dundee. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

After the game, Dundee manager Albert Flynn applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
