The Wrexham Druids topped the Aberystwyth Dragons, 5-3, in Baseball Federation of England & Wales action at Druids Park. The standout performance belonged to Wrexham pitcher and Tocumen, Panama, native Nicolás Díaz. The winner was Díaz. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Constancio Hernández. Gideon Preston notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.

Late in the game, catcher Dionisio Corbucca had a big at-bat for Wrexham. In the bottom of the eighth, he hit a run-scoring single off Constancio Hernández. The play gave the Druids a 4-3 lead.
