Urayoán Soto played the role of hero for Perth. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a 2-run home run off Jobst Klais to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"Ewan pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Perth manager Plutarco Valido.
