Ramón Piña was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Shipwrights Stadium. In fact, the Glasgow Shipwrights right-hander was instrumental in his team's 2-1 victory over the Perth Caber Tossers. With the victory, the Shipwrights upped their record to 59-53.

Glasgow starter Ramón Piña pitched like a boss. The 180 cm right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings.
