Miguel Gómez, who is tied for 5th in the BFS&I with a 2.70 ERA, pitched a gem in leading Galway to a 4-0 victory over the Dublin Vikings. Earning his 15th save for Galway was Íñigo Espinosa. Galway sits in second place in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland Sraith Daorchluiche na hEireann at 86-43.

Gómez, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 8.1 innings for the Harbourmasters. For the most part, Dublin hitters were simply overmatched.

"Miguel knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Galway manager Natalino Torres.
