Leopardos Advance to Campeonato de las Ligas Friday, September 19th , 1913 The Santa Clara Leopardos have swept the Artemisa Rojos and are on to the Campeonato de las Ligas. Santa Clara won 4-3 today at Estadio de Santa Clara to clinch the Campeonato Interdivisional. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Santa Clara shortstop Segundo Ramírez, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Ramírez won the award with a .583 batting average and a .583 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Santa Clara Leopardos don't know who they will face in the next round.
